I often try to work in animation and video. Sometime I work in sound. Those genres are so big and complex that they require collaboration. I am getting better at admitting that I need help or collaboration.
This short animation was made in Google SkethUp. It is in support and honor of my close childhood friend who is locked up. The idea that he is even prohibitted from recieving artwork from me is a sobering reality. Who needs art more than those kept so far from us?
This short film is a test of my process in puppetry. I am only begining and I have no training but it is loads of fun.
The main character is named Chico. He is full of hubris and swagger. He believes he is Geppetto's gift to women and does not care that he is a puppet. He like his puppet roomates thinks that we are all puppets in the long run.
